Multicellular tissues are the building blocks of many biological systems and organs. These not static, but dynamically change over time. Even if overall structure remains same there is a turnover cells within tissue. This dynamic homeostasis maintaned by numerous governing mechanisms which finely tuned in such way that tissue homeostatic state, even across large timescales. Some these include cell motion, fate selection through inter cellular signalling.
